Beacon Capital arranges property development finance, property acquisition finance, and property settlement finance including senior debt, bridging loans and mezzanine finance. We have also sourced and negotiated blended lending solutions from multiple lenders where we believed this was the most appropriate funding option.

chael Bolger, Managing Director
Michael was formerly Head of Operations for the personal insolvency division of Grant Thornton where he worked from June 2012. Michael has advised on acquisitions, disposals, fund-raising, business planning, financial reviews, and valuations. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Michael worked as a due diligence consultant in the private sector for six years from 2006 where he worked on a variety of projects and gained significant corporate finance and due diligence experience. Michael is a practised trained Accountant having qualified in 2001 whilst training with a top 10 professional practice in Dublin. Michael was seconded to the Department of Justice in November 2012 on a short-term basis to offer professional assistance and guidance to the Insolvency Service of Ireland implementation team. He is also the ISIP Representative on the Department of Justice Consultative Forum on Debt.
Alan Deering, Associate Director
Alan brings to the firm over 16 years of experience in real estate asset management and development finance. In the course of his professional career, Alan has managed significant loan portfolio’s involving commercial and residential development projects throughout Ireland & UK. He previously held the position of Associate Director in the Advisory team at Cushman & Wakefield with a focus on opportunities for developers and investors such as the Private Rented Sector (PRS), Student Accommodation and Social Housing. He started his career in Commercial Lending at INBS and later as a Portfolio Manager with responsibility to maximise the asset value.
Alan holds a BSc (Hons) Degree from UCD and a Diploma in Real Estate from DIT. A Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), he is a Member of the Institute of Bankers and an Associate Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors (SCSI), Ireland.
Dick Bourke, Client Manager
Dick Bourke held a number of senior management roles in one of the country’s major banks and has over 35 years of experience in banking. He was extensively involved in management in the branch network and was responsible for organising commercial finance for many individuals and company entities. In that time, he worked closely with clients on acquisitions, disposals, re-structuring , financial reviews and business planning. Dick is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and a member of the Institute of Bankers. His experience in corporate finance gives him an insight into assisting clients achieve their financial goals in a timely and helpful manner. Prior to joining Beacon Capital, Dick worked with Grant Thornton for nearly three years in the personal insolvency division where he reviewed more than 1,000 personal insolvency cases. He is also a director of The County Cavan Enterprise Fund and has mentored businesses in that role.
